Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

I once called someone in the 'C' suite out for being completely disorganized. I followed it up by offering project management advice. The conversation got pretty heated. I still have my job and we seem to have moved past it but I wonder if that interaction will have a negative consequence down the road. Why can’t my exes leave me alone

I was taking a friend to the airport and her flight was delayed, so we stopped at a restaurant to see a mutual friend who was eating there with her entire extended family. There was an empty table next to them with several half-eaten pies on it, so I assumed a previous party had just finished their meal and left. Looking for advice. My wife and I moved into a nice 4 bedroom. I would like to have one room for my office (fully remote consultant). We don’t have kids yet. She wants 3 kids and all 3 have their own room. I want 2 and would like if they are the same gender to share a room. (Atleast before teenagers). I grew up sharing a room and it was great. So did her dad and uncle. Obviously I think we shouldn’t be discussing this until it’s relevant when we have kids but she won’t drop it.

My friend’s dad was a firefighter during 9/11 who died very young because of lung cancer. He was one of those who were denied coverage. She was just having a really hard time this week. Her boss knows this and told her last Friday with a straight face that she’s sulking. Some of these VC people man.
