I have 4 yrs of experience and had applied for a Dev_Director position at Morgan Stanley. (JD mentioned 4–8yrs in one place, 5–8 in another).
I cleared all the interview rounds, but during the HR discussion, he told that based on my experience, I would be offered an Associate position instead. Shortly after, HR created a new job posting (I could see it had just gone live) and asked me to apply there.
I'm fine with the pay, but unsure why they had me reapply through a fresh posting. Any insights

Is there anything I should ask before starting that wouldn’t already have been covered in the interview? Has anyone been told that the role they are interviewing for will start in Jan 2023?

I’m doing second round interviews with Deloitte but also interviewing with three other companies. If I get an offer from Deloitte, how long can I put off making a decision in order to finish the interview process with the other companies? Is this generally frowned upon?

I was asked to join an agency on a freelance basis but nothing has been discussed with regard to rate since my first interview when I gave a range...do I state my rate now or ask if they can do X?

I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?
