If one chooses to quit the organization within 7 day. Do we still have to serve notice period.

I joined the Management Consulting division of an organization. The JD and the role offered are poles apart.

Kind of a different question ... for those who made the move to PE, any questions or things you wish you would’ve asked / known when you were interviewing that you know now working in the role?

Just received an offer with expected / standard salary for role but no signing or relocation bonus. They know I don’t have any other offers which is why I assume they didn’t offer any signing bonus - do I have any chance of getting one without “leverage”?
