I have 7 years in content moderation. After my project shut down, I was moved to an unstructured team and unfairly put on PIP, which I’ve now cleared. The same project is again targeting me and I fear another PIP. I requested a project change but was told about a cooling period, though I learned it can be skipped with manager approval. I’m also on a much lower package than peers. From a non-IT background, I’ve completed SAP FICO but am stuck due to “no experience.” Can someone guide or help me

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Does anyone who switched from consulting to product management have any recommendations of h helpful PM books, courses, or programs?

Is there a special title at your company for a Project Manager that works on product development and not an IT project manager?

An example might include launching a new product from conception through form writing, rating, filing, programming, training, and implementation, or the transfer of products from an acquisitions writing company to ours.

A friend of mine works with TCS as an Analyst, his base location is Bengaluru but he is been working from his hometown in Lucknow since the first COVID lockdown. Now he is being asked by his team to work from Ahmedabad, where his direct supervisor (manager) is working from. In this case, according to TCS talent policies, what is the procedure and the benefits that he can avail, as part of project initiated relocation? Also, how long it takes to get base location changed through HR in TCS?

Serious billing question - if during the course of the day, you first receive an email from Client A at say 11:10am and you read it, you then respond to it at 12:20pm. You get another email at 2pm from Client A and respond immediately. The next email comes in at 4pm, you read it and respond only at 4:30pm. None of the email responses take more than 3-5mins. You are working on matters for other clients at all other times during the day. How much are you billing for Client A?
