I have 9+ Yrs of exp into Java Backend Developer, Spring Boot, Microservices, Webflux, AWS, Azure, Kafka, Docker & K8s. CCTC: 25 LPA(Fixed Pay). Looking out for change but not getting calls (ECTC: 3000000(Fixed) + 200000(variable)). So what should I do in order to get calls (lower the ECTC?, do cloud certifications?, learn reactjs or angular so as full stack? etc...?) or is market itself not good at the moment?, Thanks for your time and advices.

Let’s talk about wrongful termination. The other day I was fired in the middle of the day without any warning. My colleagues called me because they were confused on why the Talent Manager dismissed me from the chat. I didn’t know what they were referring to. So I called my PM to ask what was happening, and she said that she just got off the phone with the TM and said they were terminating my contract on the spot due to me speaking up about micromanaging. No explanation just kicked out. Advice?

I’m in FDD… I know I signed up for this but there’s something about the anxiety that comes on a Friday knowing that we still didn’t get access to VDR .. and how that anxiety grows as you enter the long weekend knowing that access can happen at any minute (or not) and you have to tippy-toe on the idea of potentially cancelling on your memorial weekend plans. I know the unpredictability of our job but phew 😮‍💨

Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
