I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt
I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

0.7% - yes you read that correctly, was told 10-20% on hiring which I thought would mean 5-10%. Stay away from Deloitte.
What department?
3% here. Honestly think uncle D will have a rough year ahead for attrition.
Look at mister/miss 💰💰💰 over here with >1% bonus. Deloitte deserves the attrition.

Might as well add to the thread - 22%
32.7% but that’s because we have a bonus-heavy comp structure.
Top end of Asc - yes it’s quite bonus-heavy at the A to EM range assuming you progress by a notch or two, even more in promotion years.
Will let you know in January
Congrats! Damn I need the job market to start spicing up again so I can jump from this sinking ship.

Coach
Think wage depression in the professional services firms will be a trend that continues. Hindsight’s 20/20 but given I’m now 4 years out of uni with a masters degree and still earn less than some entry-level jobs it feels probably an appropriate time to leave.
7%, high ratings, pre-EM level
Yeah that’s pretty standard though, pre-EM at McKinsey have a higher % of pay made up of predictable base pay vs bonus
