I have a bit of a strange (to me) situation. We hired an small company to concept and manage production for a social shoot. They are managing payment for the photographer/crew. Their photographer sent me (the brand) a contract and COI request to cover the shoot. In my experience, either the company or photographer would need to show us a COI. Has anyone encountered this type of situation? Is this normal?
