I have a coworker who is very judgmental of others and uptight, but when she is sloppy in her own work its just on "stuff that doesn't matter." How can I coexist with other people's hypocrisy like this? I genuinely don't want any drama but I find it a bit annoying to hear all the time.

I’ve worked with plenty of people like this and I’ve learned that 99% of the time, the most judgmental ones are also the ones who lack self esteem and they know their work is subpar so instead of trying to better themselves, they try to bring others down. The ones they criticize the most are the ones they see that are doing the best.
Pay attention closely and il bet you’ll find this situation is the same. You’ll most likely notice this person doesn’t criticize ones who are also subpar.

I would just try to ignore her as best as you can. Sometimes there is just no reasoning with people who don’t have self awareness.

Best advice - Dont feed into it and stay away from them. They will try to lure anyone they can Into there misery. If they talk to you keep it short and professional. Also protect your energy. I found myself burnt out and depressed when I wasn't protecting my own energy. I had to realize it is like this everywhere. Most people never leave the drama in high-school unfortunately

Just tell her she is bad at her job and should focus on that because she is trash at her own so why is she on everyone else.

Jk jk if it really bothers you tell her it bothers you and if this coworker tries to sabotage you tell the manager. Communication is key to solve most problems but make sure it’s healthy communication and not toxic on your end.

I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?

I’m a certified Health Coach (my training/courses are CCE-accredited by the International Coach Federation) w/ a BS in Psychology. I got a temp to hire starting at $18/hr. It is my first professional health coach job & they did not require temps to have a coaching certification, but I have one. I’d like to know if temps could negotiate salary when given the job offer. The position is remote & I’d like $20/hr. I’ve invested in myself as a coach & plan to complete board certification by early 2023
