I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?
Recently got a role at GCP as TAM (comp is pending) but I also got into bschool ; I was hoping to use bschool to transition into product management but I’m not conflicted as I got into my dream company. I see 3 options: 1, join GCP as TAM and forget about bschool 2, join the role but quit in several months to join bschool or 3, join google and hope bschool gives me a deferral. What would you do? I think I would be cautious since PWC might view it as “ why would we give him an interview if he has an internal offer and partners gonna try to sway him to stay “. One of the partners I interviewed with told me that if he gave me an offer would I run back to my firm and tell em I’m leaving and for them to match it, I told him I wouldn’t do that but it’s the first thing I did lol
The correct answer is “give me an offer right now and I’ll sign” lol
Generally, they will ask why you don’t transfer internally. Example Answer: I have expressed interest in transferring a few months ago but I am not satisfied with the progress made to date. I have begun to look externally to avoid jumping through hoops internally.

Question as someone interviewing at pwc. I did the first phone screening how long to hear back about the actual interview dates did it take you after?

Yeah but I’ve had spotty experiences with them. I was going through the process 8 months ago which I cancelled and it took them almost three weeks to call from referral so definitely isn’t consistent

I would use it to speed up interview process
Yea, I leveraged having an internal transfer at PwC to get into EY. PwC wanted me to stay an extra busy season and with EY I had them take me immediately
I would maybe mention you have an offer but not that it is for an internal move. I think your story is easier if you are looking to transfer services, internally is proving difficult, I have received an offer from Deloitte, and I’m hoping to see how this process goes and my feeling for the company before I make a decision?
