I've had SEVERAL interviews since February, and I keep getting rejected and it's starting to leave me feeling discouraged. I've been in my current position for just over 3 years and in the industry for around 4 years and have a bachelor's in Legal Studies. The positions I've applied to all vary in nature.

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

I’m interviewing for a Director of Marketing and Communications role. Although it’s a little bit of a stretch with things I’ve never done before, I think I could do it. However I’m having a bit of imposter syndrome due to my age (27).

I recently changed jobs and my new 401K provider - Principal has very limited MF investment options. My prior employer’s 401K was managed by Fidelity and provided me access to a range of MF options. I believe that the fund options are negotiated by the employer and provider? Two questions. First - I have not rolled over my previous 401K to the new one. Would there be any problems. I WAs contacted for a L7 amazon role. 2 yrs post MBA at bcg and now strategy director at FMCG. Is the move worth considering? How much should I be expecting in compensation?

I was on VISA and therefore I could not jump as I had wanted, my base compensation journey from Y1-Y8 has been: 68k, 72k, 80k, 88k, 104k, 120k, 122k, 132k. Now I just got an offer with base of 160k. If I start the job hopping cycle now (like 1 year job), is it realistic to get to 220k base and 250k TC in about 2-3 years?

I have gotten 17k in raises (~$1000/month after deductions) since entering consulting yet it feels like I’m barely getting by financially. Any of you feel like this or have any insight into this?
