I have an interview for an entry-level position, and their website's career section specifically mentions a business casual culture with "no suits and ties needed." All the employee photos match this. I've always been told to dress formally, but I don't want to seem out of touch with their vibe. Should I still wear a suit to the interview, though?

If a company goes out of its way to say no suits are needed, I would take that seriously. For an entry-level interview, a clean button-down and nice slacks will show professionalism without making you look like you ignored their culture. You want to look prepared but still aligned with how they operate.

I would rather risk overdressing than underdressing. Wear the suit IMO. Also, good luck to you! I hope the interview goes well.

If I was a second or third choice candidate for a role, and ultimately got an offer, is it fair game to inquire with the recruiter as to why the initial candidates declined? And should this fact weigh into my decision process?

Today is my orientation @EY GDS. Any recommendations that I should need to know!? Any questions that I should keep in focus!?

My DOJ is 21st March (today) - can someone reflect questions that I should ask first hand during the orientation!?

2. Balance Payment for March!?
3.Pay Cycle?
4. Leave Policies?

Anything that really should be known which could come handy. Calling experienced folls but who can help me figure out on this one, please!

Thank you so much in advance.

Curious to hear how Account Exec comp is being broken down for those in Canada that do Solution Sales. After many years in recruitment I’m taking on solutions. Loving it! Just don’t know what industry comp looks like and would love to hear how others in Canada are remunerated.

Hello, looking for a bit of advice. I have applied to about 30 positions in the last two weeks and have not gotten any interviews. I have 7 years of military supply chain experience, plus a year and a half outside of the military. I am an inventory control manager currently, and have applied to positions like demand planner, supply chain manager, supply planner, and other manager positions. Any advice on how to correct my job search?

Hi fishes,

Needed suggestions from you guys. Currently I am working in TCS,having 1.2 years of experience with CTC 7.5 lpa. I am confused if I need to do M.tech or MBA or just do company switch after some time periods. Which will be more efficient in salary perspective?

Whether I should do m.tech in cs or mba in HR or just keep on switching?
