Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. Truly depends on what line of business at the bank. From my seat in payment services (credit/debit cards) I believe the technical skills & initiative I developed in prior SaaS roles paired with expressing interest in macroeconomic factors/consumer behavior being a personal interest to me helped me break into banking with no prior banking industry experience.
Balance sheet knowledge also important as someone coming from p&l land
Mmm yes and no, they didn’t explicitly ask them that way but I’ve found STAR to be the best way to describe how you are/can be impactful to the org in general or for any role. I do remember relying heavily on some of these specific situations from my last role in my interviews and any coaching or teaching moments I could speak to, mainly teaching accounting rules & modeling for cross department use (last role was a VERY lean org) vs coaching interns/FA1’s but I was originally shooting for manager role at the bank
Hey there OP. Have you tried looking on Glassdoor? Sometimes you can look on the company page and find the exact questions that will be asked of you in the interview. I would recommend starting there.
I will try that out! Thank you!
