Hi I can't DM . Need 11likes thanks in advance.
Stuck in same company for 7 years without growth, working in production support without skilling in latest technologies. Started learning React and want to shift on React frontend path. Again, stuck at resume building i dont know how to incorporate react into the projects i have worked. Can anyone send me (n4bryqzp@duck.com) React resume for reference?

Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

I took a 40% pay cut to come to McKinsey, two years in I’m now making more than I was before but cannot put a price on what I’ve gained in professional credibility, an A+ only quality network and amazing friends. Do it. And congratulations!!!
Reaaaaaly depends on:
- how satisfied you are with current job, including WLB (is unpredictability and long hours new and if so, acceptable to you)
- how high profile your current job is (does your CV need a credibility boost?)
- how consulting adjacent it is (are you learning new skills at McK?)
- how much risk appetite you have (mck is up or out, though on the 1yr horizon it’s more stable than cutthroat jobs, pressure to grow is higher and after a honeymoon period of ~6 months you will have to show sustained growth)
- pay cut pain: are you willing to take a pay cut for 2-3 years (most people who take a cut go back to parity as an EM, for EMs this is generally at AP level assuming decent AA (profit share))
Best of luck!
I would say why? Its not a good place to work currently and with 30% paycut I would not do it for sure! Post McK exists have really deteriorated - most people internally cannot find jobs outside - no-one wants ppt monkeys anymore
30% pay cut !?
Why come into consulting for a pay cut? Only reason I could see would be WLB and honestly then take another cut and find something truly sustainable
Don’t do it.
What’s your main motivation for wanting to join?
I did it for BCG and regret. Exited back to Industry for the same pay I would've had otherwise allbeit a worse firm.
It’s a bloodbath at McKinsey. RUN.
