I have applied for infosys and the application got auto-rejected and have not sat for interview

Now i am applying through referral which is almost on the processing stage

Will the first auto-rejected application cause any harm or be a hindrance for me going onto infosys. Please advise

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?
