I have been looking for a job for months and people keep recommending me these "AI resume tools" to increase my chances. I talk to a recruiter and they told me they use AI to filter out candidates so be careful of doing that. All this talk about AI increasing opportunities is a scam. I just feel like a bottom feeder scraping what's left on the ocean floor thinking im doing something while the creators are laughing at us on the surface... But I guess well be fine...

What should I expect from my manager? I've stuck it out for a year now and all I'm ever told is to not make mistakes. Manager stated explicitly that he does not want to review or test my work. Any attempts at discussion of why I made a mistake are dismissed by him as me making excuses. I never get any positive feedback. I somehow manager to make it a few months without making any errors but I missed a small detail in a large project and my 1on1 went terribly because of it. Is this common?

I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. That being said, should I still offer to handle minor matters that come in to ease the workload off my boss? He’s been super cool during my entire leave, so I don’t feel pressured to one bit.

However, a 'Digital Director' title feels too junior and 'Managing Director' maybe a little more senior. Any logical suggestions please? Thanks
