I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. There hasn’t been any talks about extending my contract, so I am getting very nervous about potentially being out of work in July. I am a first gen corporate worker, and I have about 5 years of experience in recruitment. I have also recently finished my Masters in HR Management, so I wanted to jump on here and see if anyone has any tips for landing a new role?

"People just want it to work" is a thing clients have said about the product the company I work for makes. It's true. And it's all over. I usually think it's because Agile's method is what everyone thinks works but so much stuff across all tech areas seems to be released broken and then never fixed or fixed way too slowly. Anyone else feel this way? Has Agile worked for you and your clients?

Get a shredder to shred old docs or just rip them up by hand?

Don't want a shredder bc it's bulky and I only need it for that one reason, afterwards it'll just collect dust. But I also don't want to risk identity/safety measures
