Hi,
If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

Following. This has been the plague of my existence, especially with AP students.
But, they don’t do it

All our assignments require in text citation, it is part of the grade so it prompts them to do it and do it well. As for paraphrasing and summarizing that is more challenging. Vocabulary flashcards for them are good with an excerpt with an example of each is helpful.

I find my students (grades 6-8) seem totally befuddled about in-text citations. They get it that you have to have a Works Cited, but when it comes to in-text citations, they act overwhelmed.
Pro
I make them put an in-text citation on every single note they take. When they finish with a source, they do the Works Cited citation.
After the notes are finished, they color-code all notes to group topics. In this way, when they use their notes to make the outline, everything is grouped nicely and the citations make the journey with the note. Plopping the notes into an outline is easy. The WC citations are done and go at the end of the outline so I can check them before the final paper.
It seems like a lot of steps, but I have found their papers are really well organized and citations aren’t missing. And, since the citations are on every note, the kids don’t have to go back and try to figure out what to cite and where it came from.
To write their first draft, they make sentences out of the phrases in their outline. When they edit their first draft, they can remove any citations not needed.
Easy-peasy! 😁
Pro
They are much better writers for it, and they get used to the steps quickly. It becomes just part of the writing process. I tell them that writing academic essays is like following a recipe; I even put a picture of a baker on the handouts. If they follow the “recipe,” the end product will be good. And yes, I grade every step of the process.
Writing the draft from the outline is easy; the kids are always surprised at how simple it works. It’s great from my end to read papers now that are organized and cited versus the previous piles of 💩 I got before I started this process.
But perhaps the best part is when kids come back or email me to brag about getting the highest essay grade in their college class. I had one girl return to tell me that a professor told her to skip the next class because she knew how to take notes and outline so well and that’s what she was going to teach. Or a kid who said he was trying to figure out how to write his paper when my voice popped into his head and said, “Outline!” He did and seven pages later his paper wrote itself. Those types of stories make me feel like I am doing something right—even as I grade the next stack of outlines! 😓

1, I honestly have not had my our students use an outline for their Argumentative Essay. I may go with that next year.
Pro
The outline is so important for organizing their work, and organizing before for the outline with the color-coding and citations already in place just makes it so much easier. I have been far less frustrated reading their essays since I started teaching it this way. I give them a checklist of steps so they track their own work.
