Totepack (bag that can be worn as backpack or tote) or a roller commuter bag.
Carrying two laptops (unless very light) exclusively via tote sounds like a recipe for back problems.
🥲
Lo & Sons does a very sleek backpack tote situation - agree w/ A1 that a backpack will be better long-term for your health.
Love my Lo&sons backpack!!

If you’re trying to carry two laptops, water bottle, makeup, chargers in a tote that’s going to be over 20lbs+ of weight. You’ll ruin your posture and have terrible back and shoulder problems. If it’s a vanity issue of not wanting to be seen with a backpack I’d rather have a backpack than a wonky spine.
I am also not a fan of backpacks but, given the load you are carrying, I’d consider a convertible option. Lo&Sons has a good one. You could also try something with a cross body strap, it helps balance the load a bit. I have one from Troubadour that is lightweight yet very durable and holds a ton.
There is another option that saves your back and shoulders. Which I use (as I carry 3 laptops); however, it’s considered out of style by a wide mile!
A wheeled briefcase 🙂
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!
Though I agree that a backpack may be a better option, you may want to look into a Thacker tote. They can convert into crossbodies. I have both a backpack and large tote from them and love it. Check them out here https://thackernyc.com/collections/totes-1
