I liked radical candor
I’ll second it. Great way to break out of the “too nice” approach many people take bc they think it makes intuitive sense and are afraid of directness

🧐 reviews for this one are terrifying.
Thank you for the recs! I’m leading a very large team right now with the majority of the team being older than myself. I have 2 team members who seem to take issue with this. And in some instances are being downright disrespectful towards me. I think I’m being too nice and flexible to try and make them more comfortable but that approach doesn’t seem to be helping. And I don’t like escalating these things to the MD because that makes me feel like I can’t handle these things on my own. I think it comes down to needing to sharpen my leadership skills. Thanks for the recs. Might just order all of them!
Anything by Patrick Lencioni. I would start with 5 Dysfunctions of a Team. His books are easy reads with practical steps to implement!
