Hi fishes...
Can anyone tell me about the training given in hashedin for lateral employees.
Is it only assessments or is some sort of training also given? And what is the difficulty level?
Will the instructors help the employees....?
Any information will be useful...🙂
Thanks in advance!

I think you’re probably feeling the imposter syndrome that most people honestly feel at times. The truth is that you should not be working weekends. It is more likely that your manager or company won’t notice and will just think the amount you’re getting done is how much you do in a normal week and plan work around you based on that.
I think it’s admirable and honestly shows signs of a more senior type engineer to go above and beyond to learn and care about what you do, but if you’re burning yourself out because you can’t step away from the computer then that’s a problem. Burnout is real and can fully affect your entire life not just your work experience. I highly recommend speaking with your manager to truly understand if you’re falling behind or to ask how your performance has been. You might be surprised to hear how they perceive how you’re doing.
It's normal to feel overwhelmed at your first real job. I don't know that working weekends consistently is, although I do understand doing it to stay on top of things. Either way, it's probably too early to tell. Wait until the one-year mark and reassess. My assumption is that you'll have gotten the hang of things by then and won't have to keep putting in those long hours.
What I have noticed is long hours for a year plus, no matter how experienced you are, after you start with a new company.
It takes a while to get used to the new processes!

I think it’s normal. You’re optically spending most of the day learning how to co the thing and the extra hour actually doing it. It will get better
It is normal to feel overwhelmed at a new job, but you don't want to burn yourself out either. I have seen people burnout from the industry completely within their first two years because they didn't take proper care of themselves. Yes, you may need to dedicate extra hours compared to more experienced coworkers, but you shouldn't be spending every weekend on it.
Great! Now Claude Code needs weekends and holidays.
