How do you manage keeping track of and responding to teams chats and emails in a timely manner? I have a hard time addressing chats when I am focused on something else, because I know it will completely derail me. But then I forgot to circle back to the chat when I’m done and I’ve recently been told that my response time is unacceptable and needs to improve, but I’m truly unsure how to improve.

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

I have US and Can. HR designations and about 3 yrs in HR in Canada. I'm currently in a process improvement role in healthcare, but really want to work in HR. I live rurally with literally no open HR roles close by. I may have the opportunity to work in a quality lead role with my current employer, but I plan to move back to the states in the next few years and want to stay marketable. There is a certain air of respect you get when you become a military professional. As long as you earn that respect, of course. But I like it, it feels good!

I always have faith that everything will make sense, and we will move into a better era. Sometimes it's challenging to maintain that faith, but it's always there.

The death of my best friend in combat will forever haunt me, no matter how hard I want to accept it and let it go. I've been remembering every day since I came back. It's so hard to deal with this on my own.
