Zilker Park is probably one of the more “touristy” places to visit- there’s kayaking and also Barton Springs nearby. I enjoy walking around the dog park near Auditorium Shores (by the lake) as well. The Capitol grounds are also fun to visit….McKinney Falls is also a really cool place to walk/hike.
Jester King is great out near dripping springs. The views at the Oasis at Lake Travis are great for sunsets. Go to the bar above and don’t bother eating at the Mexican restaurant. There’s also a giant zip line that looks fun. Austin is a big brewery town and has great ones south and west.
