The feeling of avoiding mines buried on the gorund is one I carry at all times, and I remember the fear and the anxiety at every step. I still feel like this today, like every decision I make will lead to disaster.

Has someone ever questioned your decision to join the military? I always argue about it with my father. He believes you must be a little crazy to join the forces and withstand the things you see while deployed. I always tell him he must be crazy too for being a dentist. Why would you want to put your hands inside someone's mouth all day?

Looking back... We were all very lonely during deployment. How did you cope with it?

It strikes me that attention is only being paid to the incursions into Ukraine when China is also attacking Taiwan. What about communist countries?

What made you choose this path? Enrolling in the military requires a particular mindset and set of circumstances. Analyzing those with a clear mind is crucial to a healthy post-service life.
