I joined Barclays in march. My manager is harassing me for work and is hectic work here. Is it possible to switch job internally in barclays within 1 year of joining or there is a rule that we need to be in one project for 1 year to switch internally?

Hi all, I’m looking to learn about how one can transition from PwC AC to PwC India.
I joined PwC AC Bangalore as a fresher and have been working here for 13 months.
I was randomly assigned to SAP, but I’ve realised I really want to move away from this and move towards what I originally planned on pursuing i.e. data analysis, I was already well versed in ML and DL with python.
If anyone has made a similar transition, it would be great if you could help me understand how do I go about this.

I would like to learn more about development and real estate. Can anyone recommend any books or courses that you think are informative. Eventually I would like to own a few apartment buildings, but I know there is a lot I need to learn 1st. Any advice appreciated.

I’m an MS Management Student graduating in June 2023. I applied to over 40 positions within the Big 4/MBB and even with extensive networking, I haven’t heard back from any really. I have an offer from a pretty well-known but less prestigious Consulting Firm, but I’m wondering what my chances even are of going Big 4/MBB if I’m not a campus hire. Will they even consider me for an experienced hire a year or two down the road if they showed no interest this time? Any advice welcome!

Hey fish, I started recently (within the last year) at post PhD level. I’m thinking about moving into pharma or biotech since I don’t think the ladder in consulting is right for me long term. How long do you need to stay in consulting for before making say 150-200k base in pharma/biotech?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. Hello! I noticed some similar questions to the one I am about to ask and I apologize if I am being repetitive but I didn’t see this specifically (I am new so sorry if I am missing it). I am a RN and have been for 15 years. I was looking to transition into health tech but has been a bit more challenging than I expected. So, I have been working on trying to get in as a SDR but I am also taking a course for my PMP certification. Is this of value or should I focus on something else?

Any tips for having to attend a team lunch and a separate happy hour while fasting? Outside of Ramadan happy hours aren’t awkward bc I’ll just drink soda or something. However, now do I just sit there and stare at them when they are drinking/munching on their lunch ? 😂
