I joined ISL bangalore oct 24 in 7b band slightly more than 100% comp ratio since my overall experience is more than 15+ years in mainframe.Last month I was informed that the LP flag has been set as I am performing slow. I have been learning new tech. required and also delivered new feature from scratch independently.I am worried now as I don’t know if I will be put in PIP and then asked to leave. What if PEM is not satisfied with my progress. Do I need to start looking outside now ?

Whats your CCTC

Ctc?

Thats huge risk with high pmr. they will put you in pip for sure, no matter what you do. better to look out for job outside or you may get 6 months here (2-3 months in pip & rest 3 months for notice period).

Were you put in PIP after you were flagged as a low performer?

[help] I have an offer that’s quite good, and they gave me until Monday to decide. I have a final round at another firm on Monday (fastest they can do) that I would prefer, both because of the work and the pay. Is it really bad to accept one offer and then potentially cancel it if I get a better offer a day or two later?

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.

Happy to answer any questions!

Looking for the essential UI type styles for a style guide. I need to create a UI style guide for a website without actually designing a website. I’m curious what everyone sees as a broadly helpful set of type styles and what each purpose would be. eg H1/Display headline, H2/Display subheads, H3/Page headers, H4/Page subhead, H5/ Module headers, H6/ Labels or eyebrows, Large text, Medium text, Caption text, Text link, Button

(I know, I know H tags are about importance not scale)

What do you perceive as a gesture of genuine appreciation and recognition from management (apart from financial incentives and rewards)? I work in a company that recognizes all achievements, every single deal publicly and it's become kind of a joke already. Why are some companies so bad with this to the point the entire sales force is frustrated and doesn't feel 'seen'?
