The London Bridge / Tower Bridge area is pretty nice imo
Clerkenwell is great but quiet. Islington also v nice and more yuppy. But honestly the tube is so easy that most neighbourhoods will be within 20-30min.
DM if you want to chat more. I’m an American who moved to London a few years ago.
15/20 mins is only possible if you are 15/20 mins walk from the office so there you go.
Otherwise, tons of mid 20s live in Clapham.
More upmarket people live in Fulham/Chelsea.
Wannabe hipsters live in Shoreditch.
Most of it depends on your budget though. How much have you got to spend on rent?
Not going to give financial advice but you’re willing to pay atleast 30% higher by avoiding to commute an additional 10 minutes. You could get 1B1B for <2K if you’re okay to spend another 10 min in the tube
Depends, what's your budget? You want party vibes, a quite area ? Lots of factors to consider. Myself I try to stay away from the city, its too hectic there! Even though a lot of resturants etc they are always fully packed and hard to do any walk-ins which gets really annoying.
