Hello! I am a recent graduate of a medical billing and coding program and I’ m finding it really difficult to get a job because most employers are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience. How do I get my foot in the door with no real time experience?

(Also I have no college degree) will sales managers care more about the performance record? Or more about the lack of big deal experience?

Looking for advice: would you stay in partner pipeline at Big 4 or move to one of the MBBs as a principal? I am hearing that with Big 4 getting into strategy more, MBBs will be obsolete soon thoughts?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry. I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

How feasible is it transition out of litigation / insurance coverage to more of an in house generalist role?I have some recent transactional experience and used to be a judicial clerk.

Hi Everyone. I am applying for a few design positions and I just got a response from a company that wants me to do a short video as part of a campaign. The problem is that I have 24 hours their instruction is: "An awareness video (please avoid stock video, we want to see your proficiency on Adobe After effects). Please focus on this, as this is the most important item of this assessment". So my question is. Are they being unrealistic? Also. Where can I find good stock videos? Lol

He stayed optimistic and passionate about the job, and asked me again for advice about reapplying this year. I don't know what to advice him. Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move.
