I just started my first RN job at 25 on a unit where most nurses have adult kids my age. Love the team, but I'm afraid to contribute in meetings because what if they think I'm some cocky new grad? Do experienced nurses ever feel intimidated by younger ones, or am I being paranoid?

I don't think they will feel that way. I was in your shoes once and nobody ever treated me like that. They were excited that I was eager to contribute.

That's not something I'd worry about. Sometimes a new arrival in an organization will ruffle feathers because they want to change things right away, or they have to tell everyone how they did something at their former job. It's not so much age differences that create friction as just someone who, well, creates friction. If you're personable I suspect you won't be disliked because of your age.

Have opportunity to work in my firm’s London satellite office for about a year and a half, and then come back to NY headquarters. In good standing with firm and have M&A and capital markets experience. Did not start traveling abroad until my bar trip (did not grow up with the money for trips like that) and think it would be a good personal and professional experience. Any thoughts / advice?
