Not silly at all. I still have my first car sitting in my garage that’s on its third engine and shakes so damn bad I feel like I’m riding a bull every time I fire it up.
There’s no price on good memories.

I know I actually have two project cars that are just waiting for me to invest the time and money into them. My other one is a 1973 Chevy Nova that I got in high school for my first car because I somehow convinced my parents I needed a classic muscle car with no A/C, no power steering, and no power brakes for my first car. It’s nothing fancy or show quality either but it’s mostly clean and drivable. I just have spent the money to plate it or insure it since I went college.
I’m working on getting a house bought right now too. Maybe in the next 5-10 years I’ll be able to do something with them.

I don’t really want to sell it so idk what I’m gonna do if someone actually takes my asking price.
I really want to get it fixed and shined up and pretty and be able to cruise around in it.
I know it’s probably silly to be so attached to a beat up truck but I don’t want to let it go.
Trucks are the hot vehicle in the restomod market right now. At 5k, there are plenty of people to take it off your hands if you actually want to sell it.

I don’t really want to sell it but if someone happens to drive by and offers that or more it would be hard to turn down.
I would rather keep it til the day I can afford to get it restomodded.
