Cushman & Wakefield Interested in a Sales Associate position at Cushman & Wakefield. I have experience as a government analyst for 7 years but nothing related to commercial real estate. I want to become a more competitive applicant but not sure where to start. Are there any certificates, skills, or knowledge that I should be learning in my free time?
What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.
I’m new here. Can I please get some likes 😩

Keep applying. Understand that getting hired into a fed job is typically a long process and try not to get discouraged. There are a number of categories of applicant who have priority (current displaced fed, fed spouse, veteran, etc), and if HR hits their applicant quota from these groups and you’re not in them, your resume won’t get a look, even if you’re qualified. So yeah, just keep on applying.
Make sure when you describe your experience in your resume that you are “mirroring” the skills and experience that the job announcement is asking for. The first person who reads the resume is in HR and probably doesn’t know the technical skills required for the job outside of what is in the job description, so they try to match up key language and phrases.
Also, when you take the questionnaire, interpret the questions so that you are responding based on your own experience. For instance, if they ask your expertise level in writing and implementing accounting policy, and your experience is in writing and implementing budget policy, give yourself credit for that experience even if the wording is not exact.
The key is to get marked by HR as “qualified”, and only at that point will someone in the hiring office actually see your resume.
Hi, what are you trying to get into?
