Not micronanaging, letting your creatives do what you hired them to do, giving sage advice and checking in with your team, letting the team go on shoots vs going on them yourself and not letting the team who came up with the idea go, not killing work the night before it goes to client or even the day of, being able to make decisions and stick with them, providing ample feedback vs "more," and making teams feel appreciated for their hard work and long nights and weekends.
1. Trusting and collaborating with non-creatives (planners, producers, etc) and requiring that your team does the same.
2. Showing a sincere interest in below the line work (even if it’s something you don’t know a ton about), learning what makes that work good, and rewarding your team for doing great work in those spaces.

Nah. A great creative leader is a killer at selling creative work. Also, should be able to actually delivering such creative with great production values on time and on budget
