I like the "deinfluencing" trend! Comes from trends you tried and did not like.
I'm seeing a lot of tariff-baiting. "Buy it now before we're forced to double the price!!" Honestly, it feels really irresponsible to do that kind of thing, because it preys on people's financial and economic insecurity. But if it works, it works, I guess!
I've seen quite a bit of the "Don't buy this" trend circulating again. You know, the whole reverse psychology act. I like it occasionally, but it still gets overdone IMO, so I personally avoid it in any of my marketing campaigns.
Lots of the "Out: ❌ thing, ❌ thing, ❌ thing. In: ✅ thing ✅ thing ✅ thing." It's been going around for a while now and already feels passe. I'm glad I'm not in social and don't really need to keep up with these stupid trends.
Hate it. Such are trends, though. The first tariff baiting I heard was a radio station ad. All of my TikTok is borderline QVC. I know the shop was great for a lot of creators, but too much infomercial content.
