Any amazon recruiters here?
I have had received an offer from aws and i had a negotiation call a week ago with the recruiter.
It was a 15% increase in the total comp. I have not heard anything back. Should i be worried of Amazon rescinding the offer? Will they atleast come back with the original offer? Amazon

Gessh this sounds like me every single day at work. I’m so comfortable because I’ve been there and know everyone and no one bothers me, but am I willing to let peace have me not make more money? This is so hard! More money is needed and I wish my current employer would get on board and pay people like other companies do.
This was me the last 2 years. I changed roles internally thinking it would change…nope. I start a new job somewhere else next Monday and can’t wait. Start looking!
30-40k a year would be enough for me to take whatever was thrown at me honestly but I don't know how much of a raise is for you. For me it would be life altering
That is the big question and what holds a lot of people back. You can make more, but it’s a totally unknown environment. The people, the work, etc. It’s been worth the risk for me. You have to know if it’s right for you.
Never know if you don’t look.
I remember thinking I shouldn’t rock the boat. Now I have a great job and they pay me what I’m worth. Don’t be afraid to move on and stop giving your employers a discount. If they are smart they will offer to match your salary before they lose you.
For me, I left a job and people I loved for a significant increase in pay. Huge mistake.... constant stress, back-biting, no teamwork (even though they bragged about it,) terrible manager, and owner who refused to do anything about his defective leader. I made it a year. Money is NOT the only consideration. Work environment, your team, and PEACE at the end of the day means a lot to me.
