Also the late night calls with India seems to be your biggest issue, do you know that 95% of our company is based in India lol? Majority of new roles are being created for offshore.

This is what I was thinking 😅
It all ends the same way
Lots of toxic colleagues at ACN
I had this dilemma a few years ago and used my ACN offer to negotiate an offer at EY instead. Am I happy I left D? Yea sure, I get paid way more and every time I tried to boomerang they wouldn’t even match how much EY pays me. The pay is the only reason I left in the first place. D memes are the best tho and I miss that the most. Everything else is pretty much the same at EY - and much higher pay. Am I happy I didn’t go with ACN? Yes absolutely. I had a gut feeling to not leave big4 and seeing some ACN posts in the past few years really makes me happy I listened to my gut. So long story short, let me give you a referral lol
I can tell you the fewer late night calls with India and Better exit ops you have listed for ACN is not true. Calls with offshore are really project dependent. And D has better optics than ACN. I would probably stay at D unless ACN gave me a substantial offer (I left D for a 100% raise, yes you read that right, which included a promo from C to SC. I had EY match ACN’s offer) But again, happy to give you a referral, we’re hiring in some tech consulting roles and probably other service lines.
"Long story short, let me give you a referral" that honestly touched my heart
End of the day go with your intuition.

fwiw while the 401k matching is better at ACN the pension here evens it out. The main complaint I hear from friends who switched is less flexibility and more cost cutting to appease shareholders. If the people is your portfolio are terrible to work with probably still worth the switch.
Accenture lets you buy stock willy-nilly so if you like having more leeway for personal investment, that is a plus.
Also employee stock purchase plan gives you an automatic 15% twice a year.
You should also look into vesting. I think the Deloitte pension plan has a 3-year vesting so it may make sense for you to stay at least until you’re fully vested.
I moved 6 years ago. I would advise against it now.
And they say GenAI will replace humans. AI can't even spell "Non-existant" "correctly.... It's non-existEnt. LOL. Stay at Deloitte.
Pick the partner / group you will be working with vs the firm.
Late night your time or their time 😂 Sounds like staying at D and intentionally finding ways to avoid toxic colleagues and push for less late night calls is the answer. I would not assume ACC you’ll have less late night calls. It’s all project based and everyone I know there has them. What level are you? Ideally as you clime you can delegate some of those.
Yea I'm leaning towards staying after thinking about it for a while. I'm a manager
I personally don’t think that Accenture is a better company, but I haven’t been in Deloitte for over six years so I don’t know what the current status is. I just hope that whatever decision you make provides you with a better future and a good retirement.

The AI says ‘fewer’ late nights then straight below it says ‘less’ late night. Which is it? Night that are not as late or a smaller number of equally late nights
At least you’re not in Infosys otherwise you would be working around the clock with no life and low pay. Stay in Deloitte and enjoy the freedom unless you have someone coming after you and wants you gone
Wait, the only financial benefits are a sign on bonus and 3% 401k matching? This isn't worth moving for unless you are truly desperate or are getting laid off. Typically, a 20% compensation increase justifies a move, not 2.5% as seen in your analysis.
From memory the 401k is a 6% match.
We do have stock incentives purchase and depending on your level RSU grants for CL6and higher. This does add up because you also get dividends in vested and non vested shares.
You will have some late night or morning calls with any larger firm.
Someone above said, and I agree - the most important factor is understanding whom you’ll work with and measuring that fit. It’s all the difference in the world - particularly at a time of such uncertainty as we see experiencing today.
Deloitte offers a friendly stable remote work set up??? Omg I had no clue. I barely applied bc I thought they didn't
Neither
Yeah you’re totally going to have late night calls with India here. We’re offshoring tons rn
