I need to compare the overall compensation between 2 companies.

Company A has higher salary with typical bonus (a few percents I think).

Company B is offering a salary that is about 20k lower but every time the company doubles in AUM they give their employees 60% of salary in Company equity as a bonus. I'm not sure if the equity is profit sharing. So far it seems like they issued these bonuses once every few years.

Which do you think will be the more economically profitable choice?

What is the average paralegal salary in NC for a commercial real estate law office? I’ve been with a great firm for the last 9 years but am starting to wonder if I’m being compensated fairly. The company is about 30 employees (mostly attorneys) but I work primary for 4 of the attorneys.
