I need to know: when seniors tell you to learn excel formulas, read project materials, or basically anything productive during your 'free time' in between tasks, do you actually do it? I only managed to do it a couple of times, but afterwards I become a bit tired of doing this. So instead of learning, I rather rest. And not saying that I won't learn or anything, it's just that I feel that I learn better by doing.

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. Are you traveling during the pandemic or have client interactions been virtual? Lastly, if you are a consultant here, are you on billable hours? My current consulting role is not - so this would be new.

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? I'm currently interviewing for Director of Digital Marketing and Demand Gen roles. I have all the competencies required and can demonstrate all the skills through examples from my experience.
