I need to work to survive but my degenerative disc makes me feel crippled sometimes. I can’t handle a heavy workload as I use to be able to. I’ve completed orientation and training. During training, I completed the task but struggled. In my mind, I believe I could do the work but my body says otherwise. It took me two days to recover from pain. I know I need to make a decision. I am running out of time. How do I explain this to a company that recently hired me?

I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting?
