The thing is, the US was “allies”’ to the gulf states and gave assurances to protect them, but Iran is decimating all of these countries and it’s proving that the US is a weak ally in regards to defense. What does this mean for China and all of their neighboring countries that are allies with the US?
They’re witnessing how this middle east conflict is playing out and will eventually concede to the fact that they need to make amends with China and form alliances. China controls the Strait of Hormuz, because they’re the largest consumer of gulf oil and energy… China has the cards! And Trump starting this war has only proliferated China’s influence and power in the free world.
