McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

I can’t believe they still have starting salaries at 60k. It was 60k when I started 14 years ago and lunch was less than $10 back then. Now lunch is $15 minimum. Are you in low cost of living location?
60k in 2010 dollars is crazy.
They were starting people in the 40-65k range in 2016. You were lucky.
Does this opportunity align with your current or future goals? Starting out a job remotely can sometimes inhibit your growth. You have to look beyond the money. If it's a great opportunity for growth, take it. But, if you think you'll be stagnant, then the money will definitely be a problem.
You don't need to work there forever. Get 2 or 3 years accounting experience and go elsewhere. Let this position be a stepping stone.
How does this compare to your current position?
Not competitive at all not even a livable wage . Don’t let anyone short change you. Negotiate and don’t settle
it's remote so that's probably why it's on the lower end
What do you all think is a reasonable starting salary? And are you differentiating between public and industry in your reply?
If you don't want it, I'll take it 100% tomorrow.
Send it my way please. Feel free to dm me.
I've been needing a remote job asap.
Been trying to get one over 2 years.
I never got to be remote during covid, a few hybrid days but got covid twice, pretty bad, my body will never be the same. I'm done.
It's now my turn to work from home for 4 years..
