I recently interviewed at EY FSO Advisory (PI) for a manager position in NYC. I am waiting on an offer currently and wondering what’s the total compensation I should expect for a position like this?

Big law specialist with an offer to be the CFO and GC of a 250M AUM hedge fund. All in comp would probably be ~$300k, so about $100k less than where I would be in big law (including bonus). Potential to get involved in the business side, but most likely more of a back office role (I would also be the only legal hire - main goal would be cutting outside legal cost and streamlining processes). Does this sound like an attractive offer? What exit options would I have?
