I recently received verbal offer for a Program Manager role but before it was finalized, the recruiter informed me that due to headcount reorganization, they can no longer extend it. They mentioned I received great feedback and want to help me find another role within Amazon.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Were you able to land another role internally, and if so, how did the process go? Would love any insights on what to expect and how to navigate this?

Was negotiating with a company to put me at 95k instead of 85k with 1.5 YOE (which they refused). And my new grad friend gets an offer for 175k with YOE as a SWE…. Im in the field

I have submitted my resignation on Aug11th. I received a mail very next day from HR saying salary willbe put on hold for reliving month and immediate previous month will be put on hold as FNF dues.
Now half of the people I asked saying I won't get salary for August as well and half saying i will get salary for August. Can anyone confirm on this?

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill
