How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

Nice!
Good luck to you on your next round! You will do great!
I'm waiting for my phone interview invite now. Obviously, you killed that round. How was it?
I worked for Google years back so I knew what the interview approach would look like, but I definitely forgot what that hot seat feels like. It was 20 minutes of rapid fire questions like, “Give me an example of a time…” I’d done my homework and wrote down answers to questions I thought may be asked. They weren’t the exact questions asked, but I was able to adjust those responses on the fly slightly to offer well-structured and succinct answers that aligned with the Amazon PLs. But phew! I was sweating, and I don’t usually get nervous in interviews anymore!
Any chance you can dm me? I am preparing for the interview and would love some tips!
Update: Amazon’s final round of interviews for this role… Five 60 minute interviews in 1 day.

Right, you can do the loop all in one day or over 2 days. But they still need big blocks of availability to most efficiently schedule. There are many calendars to coordinate.
