I spent the past eight years in a VP role. We were cranking along until Covid hit, but couldn’t weather the storm. Closed doors late last year.

I decided to take a step back, work on life/work balance now that I have little ones and seek a director or manager level position.

Being 43 now, I feel like my age is getting in the way of some positions. Others I feel (rather know) think I’m overqualified or are intimidated by bringing me on.

Am I being crazy thinking my age is getting in my way?

My girlfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 8 months now. We talk every single day online and recently I went to visit her for around a month. My personal opinion is to go for DI because its in my hometown, for KPMG i need to relocate. But many people are telling WLB was bad in DI. any suggestions..
