I want to spin up an ecommerce store to play around with some digital marketing tactics in my free time. I plan on selling something simple like t-shirts or something I can drop ship.

I really just want to experiment. Any recommendations on platforms that I can start with under $50 per month?

I was looking at Shopify and WooCommerce. Shopify looks like a good starting point. WooCommerce looks good too, but it’s not clear on the actual cost because you need Wordpress and hosting.

Hi! I have been working in marketing and advertising for ~5 years and recently started exploring the freelance side of things. I started conversations with a small boutique studio about doing Facebook ads for them and they asked what my retainer fee would be to manage them. Since I’ve always worked for a company that was hired to do it I am not entirely sure what a freelance rate for that should be? I would love any insight.
