I would prefer Portugal but that’s just personal preference (cleaner, nice people and lovely country)
I do not golf, though I have been telling myself for years that I need to take lessons.
I like tropical/beach vacations where I can wander around a village or small city and eat at different restaurants, pop into little boutiques, lay out on the beach, charter a boat, etc. So more looking to relax without tons of plans.
Feel like these are very different trips. Are you trying to chill or are you trying to party?
That makes sense, but I’m not big on city trips and love the beach. So trying to find a way to enjoy the beach. I mean - if I go to Ibiza or Mallorca I wouldn’t go to parties - is that feasible or is it just parties everywhere all the time with no luxury hotels that are more focused on clients looking to relax?
I’ve done both, and would have a hard time deciding. Can’t go wrong.
If you choose Spain, Tons of stuff to do in Mallorca besides partying.
The northern coast near Deia, Port de soller is stunning.
would skip Ibiza altogether and/or do formentera (much more chill).
I would probably pick two given you only have a week, but if you want to do three, those are the three. Formentera will have much nicer beaches than Mallorca.
Mallorca will have way more cool beach/mountain towns to wander in/out of (Valdemossa, deia, port soller, sa calobra, andratx, etc.)
Instead of Ibiza and Mallorca, do Menora.
A more fair comparison would be against Barcelona>Seville> Malaga
You could go to the azores. More chill than Ibiza.
Good luck with delta going rampant 😷
Lagos and the Algarve in general is pretty dead in the fall
