I was committed to give 1lakh joining bonus in HCL during package discussion with HR but in offer it is not mentioned and I am asking with the HR for the same to revise the offer by including the JB. I was able to convince my former boss to let me work a 9-5, M-Th schedule. I’ll have a billable requirement of just 1400 for the year and will be eligible for a discretionary bonus if I exceed that. I’m in my 9th year of practice in a medium size southern city. I told him I had to make at least $140k and he accepted that. Should I try to ask for more?
