I will soon be joining UBS at Kharadi, Pune location. I am expected to WFO 3 days a week including Monday or Friday mandatory. Which is fine. Although my doubt is regarding leaves. If i take 2 days in a week off, then am i still expected 3 days WFO? What if i take entire week off, is there a minimum WFO days in a month? I hesitate to ask these questions to my recruiter. Would appreciate if anyone could help. I reside 23km away. Current job is 100% remote. But UBS seems a good opportunity.

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. We all start our jobs full of hope and promise. That same hope and promise may still be there. However, the eventual grind or consistent overcommitment of anything will trigger you towards Burnout if you are not aware of them.

Be aware if you are consistently over-committing to something that will burn you out. Take breaks. Change your patterns. Whatever you need to do. Just don't overdo it.

After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

That feeling that your boss finds out you have a mental disability makes you wonder if he still views you as an asset or a liability. I’m a bit scared on how my work performance will be evaluated.
