I worked as an Assistant Editor for 10 years at the same company right out of College. I got two raises, and was getting paid $1,250 per week at the end. While looking for work after getting let go, I found out the average salary for an Assistant Editor is $1,700 per week. I ask around and my old co-workers were getting paid the proper amount. So I got screwed over for years, and should have way more money saved up during this time of unemployment. Just came here to vent about that.

Note that at MS, 2nd year bonuses in my group last year were 90-115K, while MBA associates received a pro-rated 90K stub (~40k).
