I worked at a hotel for 4years and over 6 months. I was the longest employee at the hotel. I had been through 6 GM's and ASGM'S. They brought in a Task Force GM of which he did not take care of the issues that needed to be taken care of only them firing individuals that should not have been fired for working as hard as they could. One employee that was fired had been injured on the job and couldn't do certain things that they said they tested but they did not have a professional do the testing.

Can you lose your job if you don’t like the animosity from your creative team and speak up about it ? Genuinely worried I might be disrupting the peace by saying something 🥴 the anxiety is terrible! Do I just accept it that they don’t like me or speak up and potentially burn that bridge?

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any
