I do a lot of things: customer service, billing and operations. the company did a job to my house recently and my boss said it was probono, ( I paid my materials). when i try to leave the company the excuse he told me why he never even consider a raise for me was because I got a free job and I needed to compensate. he never told me about that arrangement. he got scare when I try to leave and went from 15h to 20h. should I try finding another job?

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. My current job I make 150k plus a 20% bonus and an annual cost of living raise anywhere from 2-3.5%. Have been in my current position about a year.
